Baby Reflex™ is specially adapted reflexology for babies and toddlers (0-4 year olds). The techniques originally were developed for bonding and over the years have helped to ease, relief, and eliminate many baby discomforts proving to be very popular and successful with parents.
Jenny Lee, MCSP MAR, who is both a Chartered Physiotherapist and a Qualified Reflexologist and Teacher, has been working with Mothers and young children for over fifteen years during which time she carried out a number of pilot studies in conjunction with children's GPs, designed to examine the effects of Reflexology on childhood asthma. The results of those studies revealed benefits of reduced asthma ; better sleep patterns ; greater ability to relax ; a much improved "quality of life ", and, perhaps most important of all, an enjoyment by those children, of the actual treatment of Reflexology.
Those results were so valuable to those children that Jenny decided to introduce this new and exciting concept for Reflexology, called "baby reflex™"
Baby Reflex™ is a specialist technique that parents can use to give their babies reflexology therapy. It is believed that the treatment can boost baby’s immune system, help with pains such as teething and colic, and may help to improve the quality if life for babies with conditions such as asthma.
Baby Reflex™ is always taught by a reflexologist who has qualified as a baby reflex practitioner and is fully insured. The course is taught over a 3 week period and each session lasts for approximately one hour. Parents 'work' with their own baby or toddler individually, or in groups with other parents.
Baby Reflex™ is not a training course for parents to use on any baby or toddler, it is to be used with their own children exclusively.

It works in the same way reflexology works in adults its just specially adapted reflexology techniques to suit the needs of babies, taking into account of their size and well being.
Teaching is carried our either in parents homes or local clinics with small groups of parents with sessions for individual families if preferred.

Baby Reflex™ is portable; picture this . . . first time mum with a young baby in a supermarket queue and just about to pay for her shopping and baby cries. With baby reflex™ mum can gently calm her baby whilst continuing with her shopping.
